The Weather Widget addon displays real-time weather data based on the user’s location.
Step 1: Get an API Key #
To use the weather feature, you need an API key from a weather service such as:
- OpenWeatherMap
- WeatherAPI
After registering, copy your API key.
Step 2: Configure API in GeoBuddy #
- Go to Dashboard → GeoBuddy → Settings.
- Open the Weather Widget settings.
- Paste your Weather API Key.
- Select your preferred options:
- Temperature unit (Celsius or Fahrenheit)
- Default location
- Data refresh frequency
Step 3: Add the Weather Widget #
You can display the widget using:
- Shortcode
- Block editor
- Page builder widgets
